Based on the theoretical foundation and through the exploration of Gone with the Wind in detail, this book attempted to study the close relationship between nature and females in Gone with the wind. The three kinds of links (symbolic, experiential, status) in Gone with the Wind were presented and the mutual dependence between nature and females¿females are caretakers of nature while nature is the haven for females--was also described.
