All the means of livelihood were abandoned and theft was the only option left for livelihood. Shallow attempts were made by higher classes to reform such casts. Perhaps, this is the only community in the world which bears a symbol of being criminal cast.After independence of India the education had developed and various schemes come into existence to provide education to all classes of the society.After 60 years of Independence India, This research can be useful for the development of such classes by knowing, investigation about the impact of education on their lifestyle and by drawing inferences and making suggestions accordingly.
