The aim of our study is to assess the incidence of Cutaneous Adverse Drug Reactions in the in-patient and out-patient wings of the dermatology department in the tertiary care hospitals. From the study it was concluded that Fixed Drug eruptions are the most frequently observed Cutaneous Adverse Drug Reactions followed by maculopapular rash. We identified that the most common drugs responsible are NSAIDs followed by Anti epileptics. Depending upon nature of ADR, the dermatological ADR varied in their appearance, duration, causality, severity. To minimize the incidence of CADRs the healthcare system should promote the spontaneous reporting of dermatological adverse reactions to pharmacovigilance centers.
