The study aims to explore the nature of Guidance needs among the pupils of 11th-grade institutions in respect of urban pupils and rural pupils, Male and female, and from both Literate and Illiterate parents' background & Management for Pupils of 8th Grade Institutions in the district of Murshidabad of West Bengal. The descriptive survey design was adopted and simple random sampling is used for the study. Sampling Random technique was applied to collect the data among the 400 pupils. The study identifies the phenomena related to educational guidance needs for higher secondary School pupils and high Madrasha pupils. The complex and varied nature of the world of service poses a huge challenge to the youngest pupils today. Many pupils with higher secondary schools/Madrasahs knowledge face difficulties in making decisions due to lack of sufficient guidance, which hampers their progression. The investigator will use the Guidance Needs Inventory (GNI) developed by Grewal (2010). For theanalysis of the data, the following statistical techniques have been used. Mean, S.D. and t-test will be used to calculate and analyses the data.
