Thus, an abundant amount of publications on the subject have arisen recently. This book examines the impact of an internationalization process on a specific company, the Spain-based energy producer and supplier Iberdrola, S.A. This study also analyzes the management process implemented in one specific case of acquisition, the acquisition of Scottish Power conducted by Iberdrola. Thus, this paper is focused on acquisitions as market entry mode and tries to study the best practices that lead to a successful integration process between the acquirer and acquired company.
