The Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDC), has been the major drive towards this extensive research work. The INDC put forward global countries target and ambitions towards combating climate change based on mitigation and adaptation measures, as well as improving energy access and use. Renewable energy is considered fundamental in such climate actions, with a potential of doubling its share in the global energy mix. This is only possible by exploring and exploiting the biomass potential for modern bioenergy being a complex area with many opportunities hence, the heart of the transformation. Therefore, Africa, being a continent of paradox in terms of the energy access and use, was analyzed extensively in line with the sustainable development targeted areas.
