Adel Guindy is author of three books in Arabic and numerous articles in Arabic, English, and French about Coptic issues, current affairs in Egypt and Middle East, political transformation in Egypt, and Islamism. He provided expert input to Ph.D. theses, including in Germany and France. He is the co-founder and first president (2010-2015) of Coptic Solidarity, the leading US-based advocacy group for Copts, and its affiliate in France. In his capacity, he gave Congressional testimony. He was the international senior editor (2003-2011) of Watani, the Cairo-based leading Coptic weekly newspaper. Previously, he had over three decades management career with a large multinational company in the Energy technology sector, spanning the Middle East, Europe, Africa and the Far East.
