Mary Trudeau believes that science is important, but most of all we need to love our planet as a magnificent place where everything is interconnected and there is magic to be found if we remember to look for it. She is a professional engineer specializing in water resources with a PhD in geography. She has worked to develop environmental policy and programs for several decades and runs an environmental consultant company, Envirings Inc. She lives in Ottawa and spends lots of time enjoying the outdoors with her family and friends.
