Chris Mills wrote this book with the hope that it will create a greater appreciation in its young readers for animals and wildlife rescuers, like Andrea White, who started and runs Tender Heart Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Berryville, Arkansas. In his spare time, Chris enjoys writing, creating websites, photography, skateboarding, snowboarding, biking, and playing instruments. He also plays professionally with his family string quartet and recently started an online t-shirt business.
