Task Analyses have been conducted for Church Planters, Missionary Team Leaders and Missionary Team members, but there has never been a Task Analysis conducted for the typical North American pastor. Each year seminaries across this world graduate many more individuals who choose to fill existing church pulpits rather than plant a new work. Yet, do we really understand the competencies that may lead to success? Through exhaustive interviews and numerous question and answer techniques, the author has been able to root out the most beneficial competencies for today's Reformed North American pastor.
