Grandma Jax is a sprightly, skateboard riding, ex stock car racing grandmother. Pipi Georgia is a 7-year-old girl who, due to unusual family circumstances, lives with an unpleasant, grumpy aunt. Jax Gooding was born in Christchurch New Zealand. She trained and worked as a nurse in England for many years before returning to New Zealand after the birth of her first son. She currently lives in Te Awamutu with her husband John, while all but one of their children (& grandchildren) live in England & Australia.
