This book presents a technical report of the six-months student industrial experience work scheme (SIWES), undertaken at the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Federal Secretariat Complex, Ikolaba, Ibadan, between September 17th September 2018 to 22nd February 2019. As required by the Industrial Training Coordinating Centre (ITCC), University of Ibadan, Ibadan, it was presented in coherent chapters to entail the brief background and objectives of SIWES, the NBS's profile and the Organization Structure, Basic Data Collection Processes, National Integrated Survey of Household (NISH) to include General Household Survey (GHS) and Prices Collection, and National Integrated Survey of Establishments (NISE). The relevance of Mathematics was also reviewed in relating to NBS in the aspect of Computational Mathematics, which employed Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), and the summary, conclusions and recommendations were also suggested in this report work. This report work serves as a module in chapter six as introduction to SPSS for beginners. During this SIWES, I was attached to the Department of Fields Services and Methodology in NBS, under Field Services Division.
