Consequently, each service provider needs to have the appropriate knowledge, skills, and training in how to care for children with TDIs to their primary dentition. The primary teeth Guidelines contain recommendations for the diagnosis and management of traumatic injuries to the primary dentition, assuming the child is medically healthy with a sound and caries-free primary dentition. Management strategies may change where multiple teeth are injured.
