Autorenporträt
Martha Jo Silvestro was born in Birmingham, Alabama. "My father managed to send all four of his children to college at the University of Alabama. He did not have the opportunities we had and he wanted us to get an education in order to increase our chances at being successful in life. He and my mother made sacrifices to ensure we would have that opportunity." She is retired and lives with her husband in Sarasota, Florida. Her first book was for children and this one is for young adults. She has several other books in progress.
