Produktbeschreibung
This book is an extended and revised version of the work done by Okiemute Omuta, which was originally published at the 6th ARCHENG-2010 International Architecture and Engineering Symposium in November 2010. The objective of the project was to detect plagiarism between programming assignments submitted by students. This was achieved by using computer software to find similarities between the submitted source codes. The paper was published on ARCHENG-2010 with the title "Electronic Source Code Plagiarism Detection". However, the title has been revised and modified for this book. Therefore this book covers the several attempts made during the project to determine an effective algorithm for detecting plagiarism between computer programming source codes. After successful detection, the program highlights likely copy and paste between source codes. The software also attempts to catch plagiarism on different levels, in order to ensure the efficiency of the program, and therefore more reliable results.
