Algeria's higher education establishments were created at the start of the 2009/2010 academic year, with the mission of training Algeria's elite in various fields. To do this, they recruit the best baccalaureate graduates from all options to give them the best possible training. To this end, students must follow a rich and sustained pedagogical program, made up of fundamental modules, discovery modules and cross-disciplinary modules. Human engineering is considered a discovery module and could also be considered a cross-disciplinary subject. This module has been taught to preparatory school students in science and technology streams since the start of the 2015-2016 academic year. It is a module inserted into the pedagogical program for an hour and a half per week. In this handbook, students will find a few lessons and basic notions of this module to better apprehend it and thus complete their knowledge in the sciences of man and society. This manual covers the various chapters ofthe human engineering module. It does not claim to be a book for scholars, but can only help students understand the various chapters of the human engineering module's teaching program, its approach, concepts and notions.
