I did somehow fly from "Baghdad by the Tigris" to "Baghdad by the Bay" and I am ready to take you on an adventurous non-imaginary journey and shed some light on my nation. With a sense of nostalgia I invite you to embark on my magic carpet as we will visit the major highlights of the country in order to gain insight and immerse ourselves in a world still unknown to many. We will travel back in time as memories of the past shall come alive as I recount experiences of my life in Iraq to enrich your knowledge about the country.

Autorenporträt
A little bit about me. As a child it was important to feel a sense of pride when I attained good grades as I was oriented towards education and followed a positive pattern for long range goals for a constructive future. To date being productive daily is one of my traits and I have to reach accomplishment by being ethical, gain recognition and try to make the world a better place for all. My family constantly tells me that the day I was born I brought good luck to the household, one turn of events after another. I studied at College Du Centre -'Soeurs De La Representation' a school located in the midst of winding old alleys off Rashid Street. It was a huge complex run by Catholic nuns and where I learned French and improved in English (since I already spoke the language I had learned whilst living in Cyprus). It was an international school, a strict one, where efficiency was a must, good grades were a necessity and perseverance prevailed. I studied hard with an aim to succeed. I strived for perfection and tried to make good use of time. Learning several languages at one time was a hard chore but I looked forward to attain good results so that my family would be proud of me. Later I left to Lebanon Beirut and attended Middle East College Sabtieh Bourchrieh , situated on Mount Lebanon with the most beautiful panorama of the city of Beirut. I continued my education at Pitmans College in London, was married to a Northern Italian Edoardo and then went to Milano, Italy, where my two children were born, Manuel and Sevan. After thirteen years we decided to move the United States and this is where I now live. "Life is a journey not to be forgotten"
