Autorenporträt
Dr. Laurel Lorraine Lancer, PhD, is an artist and author. She has published two other books, both memoirs. This is her first book of poetry. The author taught forty-five years in both public and private education. She has had students from kindergarten through college. Her master's degree is in special education, where she spent most of her teaching years working with the learning disabled. Her doctorate was in higher education and psychology. She is currently retired and volunteers part time, teaching creative writing and art. She has helped many of her students to get published in poetry anthologies for children.
