This should have been the happiest time of his life. Antrone was a newlywed and new beginnings were ahead. However, fate has a way of intervening, if you aren't on the path that is meant for you. Infidelity and a fast lifestyle reduced the relationship to shambles. Antrone was at a new juncture in his life and had decisions to make. He was resourceful and chose to utilize his talents and pursue his passions in life. Until life threw a major curve his way... Two of his most cherished loved ones and confidants passed away leaving a huge void in his life. Spiraling into depression and feeling that the pillars were crumbling around him, he lost focus and strayed from the path. At the age of 37, "Juice" was celebrating a milestone in Maine, he was going to be coaching his own AAU team. Fate has a way of intervening, because prior to being able to fulfill his dream, he suffered a massive hemorrhage stroke. The prognosis was dire-a 50/50 chance to live-and if he did survive, he would be paralyzed and unable to speak. Mr. Moore spent 10 days in a coma. During this time frame, he experienced many things, things that are difficult to explain because they are not of this world. Some would call this an "out-of-body" experience that lead him through a realm of darkness, quiet and solitude, to a reunion with his late grandmother in the after-life. Through it all, he called out into the void and pleaded to return to his family to say his last goodbyes. Surrounded by a medical team pulling for his recovery, "Juice" came back to this world to serve his purpose. Fighting with a ferocity unknown to many of us, Antrone was able to rehab himself to the point of having the option to refuse the use of a wheelchair or walker. Juice's story caught the eye of a well-known boxer's son, George Foreman III. Antrone's story was run in his magazine and numerous media outlets with the purpose of inspiring those with disabilities and the down and destitute. Antrone "Juice" Moore lived his motto, "Giving up is not in my vocabulary," and seeks to spread that message within the pages of "A Walking Testimony." His powerful story has inspired the young and the elderly from Maine, down to Texas and across the country to Los Angeles [and numerous stops in between]. Although Juice's physical and mental state will never be the same, he continues to fight the good fight and show and prove that through faith, family and perseverance, anything is possible. Within the pages of this memoir is a map of the road to recovery and redemption for a young man brought up in the streets on the south side of Chicago. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll rejoice knowing that a disability does not mean the end of your ability. "A Walking Testimony" will surely leave the audience feeling like they can accomplish anything their mind can conceive, no matter the circumstances
