Dr. A. G. Marra is a pen name that disguises the real author and all those who have shared their stories with her. Her debut book, A Way Out has been applauded by readers as a riveting and compelling story of the world of abuse especially at the hands of loved ones. Dr. Marra's writing style is punctuated with clarity and humor while telling her story and the stories of women she has met along her journey to redemption. Her passion for writing was born out of desperation and a commitment to unveil the impact abuse has on the lives of victims, while also showing how healing is possible. Through her experiences, she hopes that those who suffer from abuse will not only find their way out, but also a way forward. The personal story of the author's career as an advocate for children and adolescents with disabilities is authentically presented. She has enjoyed a career in the field of education, teaching at all levels, and retiring as a professor of Education and Leadership. She resides with her husband in a quaint New England town where she enjoys cooking for friends and family, taking long walks and immersing herself in prayer. Her healing and achievements have only been made possible by a loving God who has graced her with His abundant Blessings.
