In writing A Will within a Wheel, T.R. Ormond was able to meld together two of his passions-cycling and history. A PhD in Russian Language and Literature who has taught at Canadian and American universities, Ormond also is a long-distance cyclist, vice-president of the Randonneurs Ontario Cycling Club, and a past participant in a 1200 kilometre ride across the Canadian Shield.
