Katharina Hirsch, or Kat as she is known to her friends and family, is half-Austrian and half-American. She is fluent in German and English and wields both languages in her writing. Kat's international background sparked her interest in traveling the world and studying abroad. With her Master's degree in English Literature in a Visual Culture, Kat views literature as more than just written texts. She is a passionate poet, an avid reader, and a lover of the ocean.
