Although A1GP chairman Tony Teixeira said the upcoming 2009/10 season would continue as planned, there are serious doubts as to whether the 2009 season will go ahead after the A1GP canceled their opening season race in Australia, as the race cars were impounded by a freight company seeking outstanding payments.
