MICHAEL PETIPAS was born in Boston, Massachusetts. At the age of four, his family moved to rural New Hampshire, where he grew up on a 60-acre farm. His life on the farm shaped his love of nature and his creative spirit. Michael's love of photography was encouraged by his beloved grandfather, Vincent Petipas, who worked as a professional photographer in Boston. Michael continues to find inspiration in the natural beauty of New England and spends many hours hiking in search of the perfect shot. Michael lives in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, with his wife, Aisling (also an accomplished artist), his dog, Sherman, and his cat, Mayonnaise.
