Photographer Larry Bommarito takes photos of old, abandoned buildings that tell the stories of St. Louis. Showcasing hidden beauty and capturing change has become his passion. Unfortunately, many of these homes and buildings have been torn down or fallen completely to the elements over the last decade. Some of the images featured in this book were their last chance to say anything before they became a memory. The beauty may be disappearing, but it is not gone. Larry hopes this book is the start of him giving back to his city and the people who live there by telling their stories.

Autorenporträt
Starting as an amateur photographer in 2017, Larry Bommarito found his passion and never looked back. In the world of photography, Larry chooses his subject matter wisely. With an emphasis on urban landscape and architecture, Larry has a knack for the linear and a flare for architecture that is only rivaled by his love of city street photography and powerful urban decayed imagery. Throughout his journey behind the lens, Larry has found he identifies most with the hidden beauty strewn through the lost, forgotten, and now unseen parts of St. Louis and other cities. Bringing renewed visibility to people, places, and things who have in one way, shape, or form become invisible to the public is a major pillar of his passion for his city and craft.
