Matt Fournier has lived in the Northwest Territories nearly his whole life and has had many sleepless summer nights, just like Abby Zoo. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and is the author of the children's book The Outlaw Amy Joan. He lives in Yellowknife with his wife, kids, and dog.
