Ever since COVID, students have had more and more trouble making friends and knowing how to be a friend. As a kindergarten teacher and aunt to twin two-year-olds and a special needs five-year-old, I see children struggle with friendship. Children are the most forgiving and loving people, yet they often lack the necessary skills needed to keep friends and have a fun day. This can lead to sadness and frustration. Unfortunately, with parents' hectic lives and children's lack of experiences due to COVID, children just don't know what to do or how to act in certain situations. I have used my knowledge of children in a fun ABC book to help teach children what they can do to get a friend and how to act once they have a friend. I have combined life skills on good manners and fun play ideas with a cute alphabet review and put them together to make my book ABC Come and Play With Me. It is written where ages 2-7 would be most captivated and learn from best. I have plans to write more books on various topics and look forward to sharing them with the world.
