be pharmacologically corrected. The second aspect
focuses on the excessive production of a molecule

polymeric IgA transcytosis in CF cells, which may
contribute to excessive colonization of P.
aeruginosa. Future directions addressing these
aspects of the cell biology of CF are outlined.
Autorenporträt
Dr. Fazio received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the
University of New Mexico in December of 2007. His studies
focussed on the cell biology and immunology of cystic fibrosis
respiratory epithelial cells. Dr. Fazio makes his home in
Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
