This book deals with Abu Mandour archaeological hill in the city of Rosetta, through the writings and drawings of travelers and orientalist foreigners, who visited Rosetta during the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, and documented their observations of the archaeological hill in their writings, drawings and maps. This is the first work dealing with this archaeological site supported by paintings, information and maps. The book contains a introduction to the historical city of Rosetta, which currently ranks second to Cairo, in terms of the number of Islamic monuments remaining in Egypt. The book also addressed the passion of travelers and orientalists to visit Egypt, and who visited Egypt; its cities and villages and document their observations through their writings, paintings and maps. It is clear through the documents, information, maps and drawings that were found in the writings of foreign travelers and Orientalists who visited the city of Rosetta during the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The great change that took place on the archeological hill of Abu Mandur witnessed many important historical events in Egypt.
