1.School is the second home to child and facilitate learning. Learning environment is influenced by the study habits of the students. 2.In India the education system is varied from state to state. Education is in both central and state amendment. The system of school education in Andhra Pradesh is based on attendance system. 3.India is a developing country. There is a dearth of mental health personal in the country. Due to the scarcity of funds the Indian government is not paying much importance to mental health programmes at school level. It is very difficult to appoint mental health personnel at school. 4. A counselor, a psychologist, a psychiatrist, a social worker and a physician to visit each school once in a month is advised. Securing desirable mental health in case of pupils may involve counseling parents, educating teachers, in addition to counseling the pupils themselves. 5.Students with good study habits have good attitudes, set and motivation towards scholastic achievement, superior in reading and compression, recall of material, interest in subject, study facilities, systematic and planed approach, careful attention in the class room.
