Glenford Duffus, Ph.D., has served staff, students and communities in different jurisdictions as teacher, vice principal, principal and superintendent of education for over 45 years. He has provided leadership on teacher education, staff development, equity and inclusion to boards of education and faculties of education. His leadership has resulted in the turning around of underachieving schools and significant student academic achievement. Glenford's research and teaching interests encompass leadership, diversity and inclusivity, school community partnership and professional learning communities (PLCs). Glenford is an international conference speaker, seminar, workshop and staff development facilitator. He is the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award from Tyndale University, and the Governor General's Achievement Award for service to education. Dr. Duffus continues to demonstrate his belief in continuous learning and staff development as a vehicle to improve academic achievement for all learners.
