The study concludes that most of the Mishing tribe students have average level academiv performance and there exist a significant relationship between academic performance of Mishing tribe students with institutional facilities and career expectations. This book is based on these issues.

The author, Dr. Utpal Kalita did his M.A., M.Phil, Ph.D in Education from Gauhati University, Assam. Presently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in Education at Rangia College, Assam. He has presented research papers in a number of National and International Seminars and also published a number of books and research papers.
