Barry L. Mitchell, Sr., served more than 25 years in the United States Navy and the United States Army at home and abroad. He retired in 2005 as a Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Army. He has served as an adjunct professor of management at institutions of higher learning on the East coast. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) at his firm, Mitchell Certified Public Accountant (CPA) LLC, located in Woodbridge, Virginia. His practice specializes in both individual and business tax preparation and financial consulting. In addition, Barry is the Chief, Financial Officer for Wendy Mitchell Ministries, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization. He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mitchell Enterprises Global Inc. (MEGI), a government consulting firm. In this capacity, MEGI performed financial consulting work for the Department of the Army and Department of the Navy for more than eleven years. MEGI currently provides support to the United States Postal Service (USPS). Barry is a real estate investor and currently owns, along with his wife, Wendy M. Mitchell, real estate holdings in multiple states. He resides in Triangle, Virginia, with his wife, Wendy M. Mitchell.
