ACCEPTANCE encourages readers to let go of their attachment to the past and the future, and to learn to live in the present moment. Charlene Fox understands living in the now is the key to true happiness and fulfillment. Her words move readers to let go of the thoughts that seem to create a sense of separation from the world around us. Instead, her words focus on our inner being and our true selves, as a way to find peace and contentment after the pain. Throughout the book, Charlene allows us into her own world. Her words of hope pull you into her truth at the same time allowing us to take inventory of our own. ACCEPTANCE is a thought-provoking and inspiring book filled with poetic prose motivating readers to live their lives to the fullest, to find 'acceptance', and to celebrate the achievements they've made in the life that's been given. It is a powerful reminder that the past is gone, the future is uncertain, and the only thing we truly have is the present moment.
Autorenporträt
Charlene was born and raised in a suburb south of Detroit MI. She started writing as a hobby in high school and stopped in her 20's when 'life got in the way'. After a long hiatus she started hitting the computer keys in 2021 as a way of healing from her abusive past and sharing a part of her story on the website CUT19 with the hope that anyone suffering from abuse who saw her words would know they are not alone. Charlene still resides in her hometown with her rescue cat Halfpint. To read more of her writing you can find her on Facebook at Charlene's Closet of Thoughts and on Instagram at CFoxPoetry
