The theme of this work is the application of accessibility in public open spaces intended for leisure, linking this to the problems of universal design, the management of public spaces, the right to the city and the role occupied by the population, focusing on that part that resides in urban areas of the Special Zone of Social Interest - ZEIS in the city of Salvador-BA. It thus proposes an analysis of the open public urban spaces intended for leisure practices, in ZEIS number 161, named Pilar, defined by law n°9.069/2016.
