Whether it is a journal or a friend, the simple action of writing your goals down, brings you one step closer to achieving them. In this journal you can jot down your goals and how many days in each week you'd like to complete them. They are separated out by 5 categories. Having a buddy is a helpful way to be accountable. If you're comfortable sharing, find a buddy and do this weekly together. There are some mindful questions to visit at the end of the week. This book is a blend of a guided journal and weekly planner for success in any area of your life. For More Energy For My Soul For My Fitness For Fun/Life Balance For My Success Here is how this book came about: During the pandemic in 2020, I began sharing my weekly goals with a friend across the ocean. I was in New Zealand, and he was on Kauai in Hawaii. We shared photos of our weekly goals and a recap of how our previous week went. Sometimes we would connect on the phone, other times via text. It really helped me to be accountable for my goals, but also to see what I had avoided. Did my goal or habit have purpose? Was it simple enough that I could be successful? I found that breaking down the steps for bigger goals across my week or month really helped me tackle the bigger projects. Sometimes the goal would be to make a new habit, other times to break an old habit. What I find refreshing is that you get to start over each week. I ended up designing an accountability worksheet for my friends to use. Many of them asked me if I could turn this into a book. This inspired me to put it together as a 54-week journal. Here are some ideas of how you could use this journal: drink more water get more sleep floss my teeth yoga or stretch cardio weights walk/jog/run no alcohol days no sugar days reduce caffeine intake cook at home make a healthy breakfast have a green juice or smoothie make a salad do some art/something creative write 3 things I'm grateful for write 3 things I want to happen write in a journal for 15 minutes meditate or sit in silence spend time in my Garden set a bed time no screen time in the evenings inspire someone write morning affirmations spending budget for the day/week get outside no social media no tv/movies read a real book play music listen to a podcast organise/tidy up de-clutter different rooms plan meals plan fitness meet a friend for coffee try or do something new get a massage take a nap cold wakeup shower write a letter to friend or family call someone in need of cheering up do something you've been avoiding study or learn something new write a poem

Autorenporträt
Artist/illustrator/surfer Kaylie Finnis left the corporate world in 2017 to follow her dreams and passion for surfing by moving to Kauai, Hawaii. She spent almost two years there before continuing on to New Zealand. Much of her art is inspired by her travels within the Hawaiian Islands, and New Zealand as well as to famous surf locations such as El Tunco, Puerto Escondido, Cloud Nine Siargao Island, and Bali. Kaylie was inspired to turn her surfboard art into illustrations so that others could enjoy the colourful and organic designs. She encourages those in and around surf communities to use less plastic, make responsible decisions for the ocean, and to both dream and surf big!
