This work is an analysis of the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs, through the Political Pedagogical Project of municipal schools in Dianópolis-TO, evaluating how school education can contribute or hinder the process of acceleration of the implementation of SDGs in the municipality. To this end, the theoretical foundation relates education and development, presenting how the human and social factor can contribute to local development, based on the educational issue, ensuring or interfering in the construction of sustainable cities. Agenda 2030 is discussed based on the Political Pedagogical Project, which enables the formation with results for social transformation when developing the pedagogical activities inserted in it, relating the social, economic and environmental factors, a result of the data survey of this study. Finally, for the implementation of Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals, procedures related to municipal basic education were presented, in order to make the local and regional community aware of the importance of the educational process in the promotion of SDGs through the conscious change of habits.
