The book is arranged in two chapters. The first chapter describes the acid mist suppression and process improvement by replacing Dowfroth 250 for the Kidd-Creek Zinc Electrowinning Plant. In this chapter, the effects of suppressant concentration, current efficiency, deposition polarization, surface tension, and deposit morphology etc. are discussed. The second chapter describes the characterization of industrially deposited zinc investigating the sticky and non-sticky behavior of deposits. Details of deposit examination are done through optical studies, microhardness behavior, X-ray…mehr
