The preoccupation with appearance means that many teenagers with acne are dissatisfied with their self-esteem, most of the time feeling ashamed and embarrassed about their appearance due to the lesions, and the psychological aspect is often affected, leading the individual to have an anxiety disorder or even depression. Acne is one of the most common dermatoses in adolescents and young adults today, and males are generally the most affected. It is an inflammatory condition of the pilosebaceous unit and is multifactorial, i.e. caused by several factors. High frequency is a therapeutic resource that is well known for helping to treat skin dermatoses caused by microorganisms such as fungi and bacteria. In relation to these observations, the problem is of complex importance, as it can also influence individuals' social relationships. The aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of high frequency in the treatment of grade II acne, how it acts on tissue healing, as well as to promote greater awareness of acne.
