Young Black writer, Ora M. Lewis, makes an effort to convince the Editor of a small local newspaper to publish her critiques of the segregationist New Orleans Mayor in 1935. Author, screenwriter and producer, Shaune Bordere has developed the story of desegregation journalist Ora M. Lewis into a literary realm that includes a novel, films, television productions and more. She followed in the footsteps of her grandmother, Ora M. Lewis to attend Xavier University of Louisiana and Loyola University of New Orleans.
