Sydney Walters is an author, press release writer, and digital marketer from Washington, DC. She writes for numerous publications, including Your Health Magazine and The Prompt, and also maintains a beauty blog for a local hair salon. Short stories, sappy love poems, and clever birthday cards are some of her lesser-known works. Fascinated by ghost towns from an early age, Sydney is now an avid explorer of ruins and abandoned places around the globe, including Centralia, Pennsylvania. The town's history and cultural impact--serving as the inspiration for the horror franchise Silent Hill--moved Sydney to write her own take on it, and thus, State of Grace was born. Acts of Grace is the second in a series centered around historical events told from a young woman's perspective.
