According to a survey of psychologists, obscene literature is always born in the period of sexual suppression. The fewer opportunities for sexual intercourse or the more difficult it is to obtain, the more often obscene literature will be produced. It seems that one of the main purposes of the production and study of pornographic literature is the release of sexual suffocation. Then we must also remember that obscene literature is a form of impersonation, i.e. the creator projects his repressed desires onto someone else's head and thus what he wants to do himself, is done by another character in the novel or fiction¿We are not advocating second- and third-rate literature here because that is neither out goal nor our problem. But it should also be kept in mind that the source of sensation is not only sex, but also politics and religionThe writer is also responsible for the wide access of pleasure for the reader and its refinement. If a writer is presenting his pen with obscenity as a goal, then he is definitely worthy of punishment, but if he has made obscenity and nudity a means to a greater goal, then this is not at all illegal because the purpose and intention are more important. Not the means. In an era when beauty contests, nude films, blue films, internet scams and morally damaging advertisements have made obscenity and nudity, not only in private parties, but also publicly, we continue to consider these classical and very creative poets and writers as scumbags? Is morality an alternative to hypocrisy? Isn't concealing facts a moral crime? Isn't the immature consciousness of sex at the bottom of most of our mental and social factors? Is it possible to solve these problems only through ignorance? And if through literature we get an opportunity to struggle with these problems, is it punishable? You know very well that in our society there are clubs where striptease dances are held, where striptease parties are held, where liquor, opium and cannabis are licensed, where prostitutes are licensed for prostitution. where 'blue film' shops shine on the highways, where porn sites on the Internet offer their services 24 hours a day to 'moralize' minors, where seminude pictures are published in newspapers, why is only the writer worthy of punishment in such a society who wants to expose the hypocrisy and wants to present a complete picture of life.Although this topic is quite old, it is still under discussion. Although it is a social issue, it has been discussed in literature from various angles throughout the ages, as a result of which many books which are now easily available, were once banned. That is, with time, the meaning of nudity and obscenity and their definition also keep changing. So this is the first open discussion on this topic in Urdu which was not easy here as compared to other languages. An attempt has been made to summarize this discussion in these two volumes, the second enlarged edition of which is before you. These two volumes were first published in India and later in Pakistan and have become the subject of debate.
