Adams Glacier (78°7 S 163°38 ECoordinates: 78°7 S 163°38 E) is a small glacier immediately south of Miers Glacier in Victoria Land. It was named by the New Zealand Northern Survey Party of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1956 58) after Lieutenant (later Sir) Jameson Adams, second in command of the shore party of the British Antarctic Expedition (1907 09), who was one of the men to accompany Ernest Shackleton to within 97 miles (156 km) of the South Pole.
