Where does justice end and vengeance begin? When newspaper journalist Grace Rampling learns that the Pride Choir has been banned from performing in the cathedral, she rushes to the church to get some answers. Instead, she literally stumbles onto a grisly crime scene: the bishop is lying in a pool of his own blood before the altar. Suddenly, Grace is no longer the observer and reporter. Autorenporträt
J.C. (Joanne) Paulson was born in Saskatoon, the beautiful prairie city she loves so much she has never managed to leave for longer than a few months. A long-time journalist with the local daily newspaper, The StarPhoenix, as well as other news outlets, Paulson awakened one night with the plot of Adam's Witness swirling in her brain. There was nothing for it but to write the thing. The transition from fact to fiction was a strange relocation into a very different world of words, characterization and plot creation, but Adam and Grace quickly became part of the household. She lives in a rambling older bungalow with her husband, goldsmith Ken Paulson, who is also a character but actually flesh and blood.
