It has been projected that the average global temperature will increase in between 1.8 to 4°C by 2100 and the sea level will rise from 0.18 - 0.38 to 0.26 - 0.59 mm at the end (2090 -2099) of the 21st century (IPCC, 2007). Its vulnerability and impact are common in all countries especially for developing countries. Among the countries, Bangladesh is highest. Adaptation and mitigation are needed to overcome the adverse impact of climate change.

The author was born on 15 April 1967 at Dhanbari Upazila of Tangail district,Bangladesh. He comes of a respectable Muslim family. He is son of late Md Abul Kashem and Ms Jamila Khatun. He obtained PhD in 2016.
