This work made an analysis of the alternative adopted by the 4th GBM, located in the municipality of Santarém-PA, adaptation of flanges in deep tube wells of COSANPA, located in strategic points of that municipality, as an alternative for the supply of fire fighting vehicles of CBMPA in that municipality, supplying the deficiency of urban column hydrants, thus decentralizing the water supply of the fire fighting vehicles of the 4th GBM, which was previously carried out only in one place. The type of study carried out was the exploratory one with bibliographic research for the theoretical support and field research in order to subsidize the obtaining of the necessary data for the analysis of the work problematic. Interviews were conducted with the commanders of the 4th GBM (current and former commanders) and with the adviser of the Operations Board of COSANPA, in order to obtain information on the benefits of adapting the flanges in the deep tube wells and also on the feasibility of applying this alternative for other municipalities in the State of Pará, which have firefighters groups.
