This book is the result of a work that was part of the master's degree that all students of the Instituto Superior de Ciências de Saúde - Norte, must complete after completing their postgraduate curricular plan, with a view to obtaining a master's degree, and is aimed at issues related to anxiety in children and adolescents. The research aimed to analyze on the one hand, the reliability and factorial structure of the Anxiety Scale for Children and Adolescents: "What I think and what I feel" (Fonseca, 1989), Portuguese version of the scale of Manifest Anxiety (Reynolds & Paget, 1981) in a sample of the Angolan population, on the other, establish norms based on this sample of the population taking into account the respective means and standard deviations and also check the existence of differences as to anxiety and lie factor taking into account the variables gender, age groups and means of residence.. The research subjects were 450 children and adolescents of both sexes, aged between 8 and 17 years old from Benguela province. The results provided a new instrument to measure anxiety in Angolan children and adolescents.
