To achieve these objectives, several materials and methods were used. Experimental results show that of the threeAllium cepa varieties, red onions germinate first; yellow onions have the lowest germination rate, while red onions have the highest;vegetative growth of the plant: yellow onions and red creoles grow a little slowly, red onions the fastest; red onions have the heaviest bulb and yellow onions the lightest; red onions have the largest bulb and red onions the highest yield in kg/ha, ranging from 290 to 300kg/ha. The problem with this crop is bulb rot: yellow onions have the highest rate of rot.
