In the book, Adaptive Equalization Techniques to Estimate GAGAN Signals, it was attempted to improve the positional accuracy of GAGAN system, through the means of calibration of Instrumental biases. Further, the linearity was observed in ranging errors with an application of various algorithms such as RLS, EKF. It is further noted that the adaptive equalization is the most effective technique which is implemented for compensating channel distortions. This is implemented here for GAGAN applications. GAGAN signal processing is observed for different BER values for various adaptive algorithms.
