Acute and chronic usage of morphine cause degeneration in some parts brain which responsible for anxiety and depression. Thus, morphine abuse in addition to dependency can caused anxiety and depression. Also by more abuse of morphine we expect more anxiety and depressive like behavior.

Dr. Majid Motaghinejad was born in1985 at I.R. Iran. He is currently a PhD student and Research Assistant of Medical Pharmacology in Tehran and Iran University of Medical Sciences.
